Bridge - Building Trust in Future Technology
Introduction
Healthcare systems worldwide are under immense strain due to rising patient numbers, complex cases, and aging populations. These pressures, compounded by staff shortages, increase stress and cognitive demands on medical professionals, threatening their well-being and career longevity. While technology has the potential to ease these burdens, many healthcare workers remain skeptical, struggling with distrust in new systems that disrupt familiar workflows. Overcoming these challenges requires not only innovative solutions but also a user-centered approach that fosters trust, ensuring that technology supports rather than hinders medical professionals in their roles.

Our process was rooted in immersive research, user-centered design, and iterative prototyping to explore experience and trust. Through field studies and direct user engagement, we gained deep insights into real-world interactions. Ethnographic storytelling ensured that human experiences remained central, while scenario prototyping allowed us to test and refine ideas in context.
